however even with all of these there is no 100% guarantee that something wont get by.

All you can do is try to protect your PC as best as possible.

Probably for anti virus. i would get a Firewall though for shure. Zonealarm is good.
I use avast and have never had a problem. Just dont let the serial key expire so it will keep up to date with the latest virus definitions. Spyware is a different matter, do a search for superantispyware (one word) its free too.
