Better yet, if you know anyone in the Army, you can go to

https://www.us.army.mil and after you login with their AKO name and password you can get Symantec's Norton antivirus for free! It is the best version of Norton aka (SAV) because the Army made Symantec cut out all the graphics and commercial BS so it runs very clean without taking up as much space in memory.

Again, if you don't know anyone in the Army then AVG is my choice. PLEASE choose my answer as best if you think it deserves it.
