well, you have not got it, you probably have the worst. Kaspersky is very very good for a paid one and avast is very good for a free one.

Use comodo for a decent free firewall, they also give free anti virus, but i have never tested it.
i would say that McAfee Total Protection would be good http://us.mcafee.com/root/package.asp?pk... or Kaspersky Internet Security
Kaspersky is the best choice!

Kaspersky Internet Security + Kaspersky Anti-Virus = best defence

I found 15% discount fot it :)
I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from the following link. http://www.computeractive.co.uk/... On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category.I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps.
The thing most of would agree on is that you should get rid of Norton. Its slow and not particularly effective. Now what you should use instead is another problem entirely. If you want free anti-virus then AVG. Although I don't use it myself the paid anti-virus that consistently wins awards is ZoneAlarm. They do a very nice combined Firewall / Anti-Virus which I thoroughly recommend. I use F- Secure for both and again absolutely no problems. As far as anti-spyware I have always thought that a combination of Ad-Aware and Spybot-SD was very good but (much as I hate to admit it) the latest version of Windows Defender might be better than Ad-Aware.
i use avast home edition, totally free!

i've been using it fo 3/4 years and have had absolutly no problem with it. i highly recomend it
get AVG 7.5 its free but don't let that put u off. It is really good and easy to use. I have been using it for three years and never had any problems with viruses. Also free and really good is zonealarm firewall, easy to setup and makes your computer invisible when surfing
i give my vote to ''AntiVir'' and ''Zonealarm'' to gether.

you will not regret it
